Jeanne  Carroll was raised in Long Island , New York. She is the middle of three girls, raised in a middle class Irish Catholic family all of whom are still very close. She graduated from Adelphi University with a BA in Education.

Jeanne joined the church in Colorado and fundraised till she met and was blessed to her eternal spouse Emmett Jerome Carroll from Ventura , California in 1982. They both attended UTS and from there were off to Seattle, Washington then Portland, Oregon were Jamie, their 17 year old daughter was born. Just after their son, Jonathan, was born in ’91 they moved to the former Soviet Republic; living first in Kiev, Ukraine

They returned to the USA , settling in New Jersey where their last child, Jennifer was born in 1995. The following year Jeanne began a small school with 6 first grade students in her basement. The school grew by one grade and several students each year. This year, after being in several locations, New Hope School in Clifton , New Jersey opened with 70 students in grades 1 through 8.

Since working full time on the school, several camps, and other 2nd generation education programs for the last ten years it came as a surprise when Jeanne was appointed to the regional chair position of WFWP followed by the appointment as National Field Director for WFWP. Since then she feels (as we sometime do) God tapping her on the shoulder.

Jeanne enjoys rare moments when the whole family is at home on their wooded hillside in Dover, New Jersey .

She is fond of the family Dog, "Bear" and puts up with the cats, "Sweetie" and "Cowie" and finds her way to meditate by contemplating the fish.

Jeanne enjoys nature, gardening as well as feeding and observing birds. She hopes to pursue her doctorate at UTS in the near future.
